Predictive Power Estimators in Cdma Closed Loop Power Control
In this paper, estimation of signal power is considered. Methods of designing optimized and partially-optimized power estimators, based on the Wiener model, for complexvalued signals are presented. Our application is predictive received power level estimation in closed loop transmitter power control of mobile CDMA communications systems. The proposed estimators have the benefits of guaranteed...
متن کاملDistributed Power Control in CDMA Cellular System
In wireless cellular communication, it is essential to nd e ective means of power control of signals received from randomly dispersed users within one cell. E ective power control will heavily impact the system capacity. Distributed power control (DPC) is a natural choice for such purpose, because unlike centralized power control, DPC does not require extensive computational power. Distributed ...
متن کاملIteration Based Power Control in CDMA System
CDMA System is very effective system. But Power control mechanism is an important issue for CDMA. Effective power controlling is helpful in increasing the capacity of the system. Power control algorithms used in telecommunication system are based on fixed step size algorithms. In this paper, an iteration based algorithm studied that can perform better result and reduce the error level. This red...
متن کاملRobust autoregressive predictive power control method for mobile CDMA systems
A closed-loop power control (CLPC) scheme with a multistep (indicating multiple prediction steps) linear autoregressive predictor is presented. The proposed CLPC relies on low-rate sample vector based autoregressive prediction. Compared to currently available predictive CLCP schemes, it demonstrates particularly robust performance in the presence of large loop delays and channel estimation errors.
متن کاملPredictive Closed Loop Power Control for Mobile Cdma Systems
In this paper, a predictive closed power control loop for mobile communication systems is simulated employing actual multiuser interference. The system parameters are derived from those used in a CDMA system uplink transmission at urban mobile speeds. It is shown by COSSAP (Communications Simulation and System Analysis Program of CADIS GmbH, Germany) simulations that when the estimates of the r...
